Description:

After calculating system this message pops up..."The specified remote head does not have a k factor. Please fix your input" hydcalc.exe

Solutions:

Cause:

1. On a calculation that was run from a drawing, a hose demand was added that was at the end of a dead end line. 2. On a calculation that was run from a drawing, a fire pump was added that was at the end of a dead end line. 3. Fire Pump input has been reset to all 0's for pressures and flows
Solution:

1. Reinsert hose demand to where it connects to system flow. 2. Reinsert water supply so the fire pump is within the system piping. 3. Open the Fire Pump water supply, reset and pick Match Curve.
