The sprinkler head has a Z coordinate other than zero associated to it.
Solution:

Select the sprinkler head then view the properties, even if it shows zero, type in 0 at the Z coordinate as units rounding may be an issue. You may want to try using Select Similar to change ALL the sprinkler head coordinates to have a 0 Z coordinate GAB 10/20/14
