Button: Tag Pipes Error Type: Command Failure for External Command

Description:

Command Failure for External Command... Revit could not complete the external command.

Cause:

When attempting to tag pipes / after clicking Continue on the Pipe Tag Setup box, this error appears.

This is caused by System Walker Selection being marked as the selection method, despite being opened and ran independent of the Walker.

Solution:

Select one pipe and run Tag Pipes with User Selection checked to see if the command runs.

If it does, go to this folder location: C:\HES\TEMP and delete the VerticalPipeStatus.tmp file.

If you have Hydratec for Revit installed on a different drive, replace C: above with your drive letter.
